Our Society actively promotes and supports an ongoing working relationship and partnership between Provincial and Local Government agencies, home owner/tenants and the land owners/landlords of British Columbia's Manufactured Home Communities. We believe in and work towards keeping 'housing on rented land' as an affordable housing option.

We are a non-profit Society, staffed by volunteers. We work together with District Associations, Park Associations and members around the province.

Owners of manufactured homes situated on rented pads in manufactured home communities are home owners, renters and taxpayers. They  face a unique situation with problems common to all three roles. OBJECTIVES:

  • Lobby the provincial government to protect the rights of manufactured home owners.
  • Work towards keeping housing on rented land as an affordable housing option.
  • Advocate for licensing park managers.
  • Assist our members where possible in the dispute settlement process.
  • Promote and assist in the establishment of Park Community Home Owner Associations CONTINUES TO ADVOCATE FOR:

  • Reducing the need for arbitration.
  • Equitable Rent Increase provisions and use of government forms.
  • Standard park rules.
  • Home sales and Assignment of Tenancy Agreements.
  • Homeowners rights.

Occasionally homeowners are reluctant to speak up when problems occur in their park community, therefore, we have a privacy policy which states that we will not divulge members names or the number of members we have to anyone. Any information that you share with us will not be shared with anyone else without your permission.
